The processing of personal data is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Data Collected

We collect the following categories of data:

  • Account data: name, email address, password (hashed).
  • Payment data: processed exclusively by Stripe. We do not store any card numbers.
  • Calculation data: amounts, durations, rates, and results of saved simulations (Pro users).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, approximate geolocation (country) for currency.

4. Purposes of Processing

  • Provide and improve the loan calculation service.
  • Manage user accounts and subscriptions.
  • Process payments via Stripe.
  • Adapt currency based on geographic location.
  • Display ads via Google AdSense (free plan users).
  • Send transactional emails (password reset, contact).

5. Data Sharing

Your data may be shared with the following third parties, strictly for the purposes described:

  • Stripe (payment processing) — PCI DSS compliant.
  • Google AdSense (advertising) — only for free plan users, with consent.
  • Resend (transactional email delivery).
  • Google (OAuth authentication) — if you use Google sign-in.
  • MongoDB Atlas (database hosting) — servers in Europe.
  • Vercel (website hosting) — may process IP address and HTTP headers.

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as the account is active. Calculation data is deleted upon account closure. Payment data is retained in accordance with legal obligations (10 years).

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, restricted data access.

8. Your Rights
